‍SMASH has received four prestigious Drama League Award nominations, joining the ranks of Broadway's most celebrated productions of the 2024-2025 season.

The meta-musical about creating a Broadway show has been recognized in the following categories:

  • Outstanding Production of a Musical
  • Outstanding Direction of a Musical for Susan Stroman
  • Distinguished Performance for Brooks Ashmanskas
  • Distinguished Performance for Robyn Hurder

The nominations were announced on April 22 by Sarah Hyland and Orville Peck at the New York Library for the Performing Arts. Winners will be announced at the 91st annual Drama League Awards ceremony on May 16 at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City.
