
Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival has announced its full evening of performances at the annual Season Opening Gala in Becket on Saturday, June 20, 2026. The event will honor New York City Principal Dancer Tiler Peck with the 2026 Jacob’s Pillow Dance Award. This award, presented by five-time Tony Award-winning director Susan Stroman, recognizes Peck’s significant impact and leadership as part of the festival’s celebration of groundbreaking women in dance. Tiler Peck’s recent triumphs include choreographing the critically acclaimed ballet “Symphonie Espagnole” for the NYC Ballet and winning an Emmy for her documentary, Tiler Peck: Suspending Time. She is also soon to star in the Ahrens and Flaherty musical Little Dancer, directed by Susan Stroman, at the Haymarket Theater in London.
The gala sets the stage for an extraordinary summer of dance, generating excitement and anticipation for the season ahead.
