Broadway legend and newly appointed Academy President Susan Stroman will host Guild Hall's 39th Annual Academy of the Arts Achievement Awards Dinner on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at The Rainbow Room in New York City. This prestigious event celebrates the extraordinary community of over 200 accomplished artists and creative professionals who comprise the Academy of the Arts.
This year's honorees include Eric Fischl, receiving the Chairman's Award for Service to the Academy for his stewardship and co-founding of the Guild House Artist-in-Residence program, and arts patron and trustee Linda Lindenbaum, recognized with the Special Award for Leadership and Philanthropy.
The gala will also welcome an impressive roster of new Academy inductees: Katie Couric, Neil Patrick Harris, Sheree Hovsepian, Jane Krakowski, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph M. Pierce, David Rockwell, Jeffrey Seller, and Almond Zigmund. Guests will enjoy special performances by Broadway favorites Debra Monk, Tony Yazbeck, and Seth Rudetsky.
In a special video message filmed backstage at the new musical Smash, Stroman invites supporters to join this celebration of artistic excellence.
